Video Picks of the Week

A couple of great music clips this week from Aylesbury’s finest, John Otway.

First off, a manic 70s performance of Cheryl’s Going Home with Wild Willy Barrett on The Old Grey Whistle Test. I’m not going to spoil the surprise for those of you who’ve never seen this classic piece of British telly before.

And, amplifier gymnastic sprains and associated headbutt injuries notwithstanding, he’s still at it.

John Otway is 56.

John and Willy will be performing an hour-long show at this year’s Edinburgh Festival every night at 9pm from August 3rd to 16th, at Club West at the Quincentenary Hall, The Royal College of Surgeons, Nicolson Street. Tickets are £12 (£10 conc.). We’ll definitely be going…
